Hestia.

Hestia is a streamlined home-management platform that transforms scattered household tasks into an organized, intuitive, and beautifully simple system.

About Hestia

Hestia is a home-management platform designed to streamline domestic organization through clear information architecture and intuitive interaction patterns. My role centered on defining the user experience end-to-end, mapping user flows, establishing a scalable design system, and crafting interfaces that reduce cognitive load. Over the course of the project, I focused on transforming fragmented household tasks into a cohesive, guided digital experience.

Users currently rely on a mix of disconnected tools, ad-hoc notes, and mental tracking to manage household responsibilities. This results in high friction, uneven task visibility, and inconsistent coordination across members. The challenge was to understand how these fragmented behaviors create UX pain points, such as cognitive overload, unclear task hierarchy, and lack of shared visibility. I was to explore how a unified digital ecosystem could solve them.

I conducted user interviews, contextual inquiries, and competitive audits to uncover behavioral patterns and unmet needs. Research highlighted recurring issues around information fragmentation, unclear prioritization, and emotional stress caused by overly complex tools. By synthesizing findings into personas, journey maps, and key insights, I created a research foundation that directly informed the platform’s IA, feature prioritization, and interaction logic.
